March 10, 2010 — A Melges 20 Speed Clinic Session, organized by Melges Europe, North Sails Itali and One Design Service, will take place at Fraglia Vela Malcesine (Lake of Garda) on March 19th-20th-21st.

It will be a fantastic occasion to reach all the secrets and the recent progresses of Audi Melges 20: get ready to fire up your Melges 20 and discover how to make it go faster!

The program will be the following:

Friday, March 19th a Melges 20 Rigging Session will take place where some very useful advices and detailed explanations will be provided.

Saturday & Sunday, March 20th-21st an intense sailing session will be held under the professional supervision of a North Sail technician that will coordinate practice races, multiple starts and speed tests. After sailing all the participants are warmly invited to join the debriefing for photos and videos playback analysis.

Friday, March 19th
h 10.00 - Skipper Briefing - Program introduction
h 12.00 - Melges 20 Rigging session
h 17.00 - De briefing

Saturday, March 20th
h 8.30 – Skipper Briefing
h 9.15 – Harbor Start
h 9.30 > 11.30 – Warm up and boat handling  with 4 boats in a group
h 12.00 – Lunch break
h 13.30 > 15.30 – Starting sequence practice. Rolling starts every 5 minutes with 4th start leading into race (Windward-Leeward) 
h 18.30 – After Sailing Debriefing
h 20.00 – Dinner at Fraglia Vela Malcesine Restaurant

Sunday, March 21st
h 8.30 – Skipper Briefing
h 9.15 – Harbor Start
h 9.30 > 11.00 – Warm up and boat handling with 4 boats in a group
h 11.30 > 13.00 – Starting sequence practice. Rolling starts every 5 minutes with 4th start leading into race (Windward-Leeward)
